The Barrel Room

This is the oldest wine cellar, set below the main house. Low wooden ceilings with giant beams, aching under the strain of time, covering old stone lagares and wooden presses. How many wines have been made here?

This space offers a darker vibe, something of the unexpected. Natural light is low, coming from a single window and a long corridor; it can be spiced up with atmospheric lighting, the low ceilings, barrels and winemaking equipment giving a condensed, focused feel. A dark, low-fi, boxy mood.
