Quinta das Antas

Quinta das Antas dates back to the 1700s, but it's a new project for us. Drawing inspiration from Quinta de Sant'Ana, our family home, we aspire to bring life back to the farm, emphasising sustainable agriculture and celebrating the wide variety of produce that this land gives us.

Life on the farm

Lucas and Pinga
Restoring the Quinta is a massive project, it will take us several years to restore the ruins of the old caretaker's house and renovate the wineries.
In the meantime, our eldest son Lucas has moved to the farm together with Pinga, his adoring English Setter. Together, they are busying themselves with bringing life back to the farm: clearing out the wineries, pruning trees and exploring the many agricultural options, from olive oil to chilli sauces. They are joined by a busy rabble of chickens and a flock of Suffolk sheep, courtesy of Quinta de Sant'Ana.
We also host occasional events at Antas - check out some of the past experiences!
